The final morning of our vacation trip finds us at "The Leslie" Marblehead Mass. We had breakfast here and then went out and explored the toy factory of "Daddy" Scott shaking hands with the delightful old gentleman himself and bought a piece or two of his wares. We then journed on through Swamscott to Lexington, where we spent several hours absorbing the very heart beats of the Patriotic Minute Men who glorified the spot. We visited the Hancock - Clarke House built in 1698. We then motored on to Concord, had lunch there and visited The Alcott Homstead, birthplace and home of Louisa M. Alcott author of "Little Women". It was a wonderful experience to breathe the atmosphere of this wonderful home We came on though Sudbury past the "Wayside Inn" through Springfield to Hartford where we had dinner, then on to "Glendean", and right glad are we to be at home again after a wonderful trip covering 1143 miles of mountain and valley. It has been a delightful vacation spent with, "We three and no more", Mother Sally and Dad. -188 miles today
