Another fine day. Very dry we need rain badly. In to the office early. Miss Memmott leaves for her vacation today. Mr Stutt of The Geo. D. Wetherill Co of Philadelphia came to store to go over Advertising Program for next few months. Out to "Glendean" to dinner, then over to the Norton Street House to clean out the gutters. Went on out to call on Jennie Lincoln Crams found her away on a vacation. Went across the street to see Larry and Aletha Stones baby outfit (Baby expected soon) Georges Clensencean of France addressed a personal appealing letter to President Coolidge, regarding the funding of the French debt to the United States, hoping that the terms might be made easier than those arranged for by the U.S. debt commission. Personally I wish that we might forgive France this whole financial debt. We can afford it and she so richly deserves this forgiveness.
