Thursday Aug 19 Busy all day at the York street Store. Drove to Bridgeport Conn. to the funeral of Grace Bill, cousins Lewis Bills wife. Took Sarah and Violette down with me also three of the Munson relatives from New Haven. The funeral was held at Eight P.M. tonight and the body is to be cremated tomorrow morning. Alice and Fred Lockwood also Harry Bill from Syracuse were there. The flowers were beautiful. Alice Drew took Sally back down to Norwalk with them for the week end. T.P.H. could not go on account of her bad throat illness. She is much better today although not able to go down.
