Sunday Aug 22 At Norwalk Conn visiting Alice and Fred Lockwood Came down last night. Fred Alice Sally and went to Church here in Norwalk After service Alice showed us around the building- a very fine edifice copied after the old Colonial Church that was distroyed by fire. After dinner Fred took us down to his Golf Club and then for a drive. We had supper with them, then started for home. Had a pleasant trip home. Sarah showed us a new way to come so as to avoid traffic. We followed the shore to Bridgeport, then went around through Sea Side Park and then home. A very delightful visit with these dear people.
