Tuesday Aug 24 Hot and muggy again today. George Hanbury came down today went over the Hobbs line with us. Took him to Rotary Luncheon with me, then back to York St to the Wall Paper job again. Did not go home to dinner to night, went to West Haven to see Fred Hicks about his account then to Armory on Meadow Street to meeting of the Anniversary Committee of the New Haven Grays. Good attendance and a good meeting. The actives served a lunch to the veterans afterwards. Harley called me up today from East Ridge New Hampshire where he is spending his vacation.
