Thursday Aug 26 So dark and foggy and muggy this morning that we had to light lights all over the house. It came on to rain later and poured hard. Sarah left today for Brattleboro Vermont to visit the Morrises at Camp Arden. She is to play a part in the "Piper" with Martha Morris. Finishing up our House Beautiful at the York Street Store, painting the terrace and having the window boxes filled. Home tonight to dinner took a walk around Spring Glen with T.P.H. and Mitzie the black cat. (Mitzie is the black cat.)
