Tuesday Dec 7 Very cold again this morning. Thermometer only 9° above zero Went into town on the trolley. Too much snow for the auto. reported to the County Court House with panel for jury duty. Civil side Superior Court. I was drawn as a resident of the Town of New Haven, when I am now a resident of the town of Handen. Judge Wolfe excused me. Went over to Woolworths 5 and 10 and bought some Christmas Tree ornaments. First time in many years that I have had a chance to do any Christmas shopping. Had supper in town tonight.
