Thursday Dec 9 Went down town shopping with T.P.H. today, the first time I have had this pleasure in about fifteen years on account of being tied up at the Chapel Street store. We visited all the stores and made some purchases of course. Home tonight addressing Christmas Cards to go out later. Amy Trefry Warren (Mrs S.B.) called and brought us in a basket of apples. She says that good old Steve is not any too well these days. Too bad. He was such a keen, wonderful chap.
