Sunday Dec 12 A beautiful winter day today. Warm and clear and the ground covered with snow. In to Church and School. Mrs Smith of New York spoke to us in the interest of the Near East Relief. We take up our offering next Sunday. Alice Drew Lockwood with us today. Also, Ruth and Howard Donovan here to dinner. They are at home for their leave from the Consular station at Bahia Brazil, South America. We took Alice to station tonight. Sarah could not get home from New York on account of having to rehearse for a new play.
