Monday Dec 20 Cloudy and warmer this morning. Snowed about two inches more during the night. This surely has been the most wintery December we have had in many Winters. T.P.H. took me in to the store and Sally to her New York train. Left for Philadelphia on the 4-19 train to attend the salesmens Convention of the Geo D. Wetherill & Co. with H.M.H., Frank Spaulding, Ray Hall, Franklin Clark, Charles Treat, Charles Gorkam, Robert Shaffer, and Harry Fitch. H.M.H. and I came to the Manufacturers Club. The rest put up at the Benjamin Franklin Hotel. Quite warm down here and not a sign of snow. Quite different than up in New England.
