Thursday Dec 23 Left Philadelphia at 9 A.M. after having breakfast at the Manufacturers Club. We all stopped off at Newark and visited the works of the Rubberset Brush Co. It was a most interesting tour, learning how the brushes were made. We all had luncheon at the New Elks Club, then back to the factory to finish the tour. Mr Allbright Junior escorted us. We then came on to New York. Harley and the men came on to New Haven, while I went up to Sarahs apartment. We went to dinner to the "Ships Grille" on 58th Street. Took Mrs Gleanzer and Doris with us. Sally and I then went to the Laboratory Theatre and saw them play "The Trumpet Shall Sound". It was so very well done. We then caught the 11-05 for home. Mother met us at the station at 1-30 A.M.
