Tuesday Dec 28 Pouring rain today. After the snow, the streets are just running rivers. This was family day at Rotary today. T.P.H. and Sarah did not come in on account of the storm. Tessie has a bad cold and Sarah was afraid of her voice. A good many women and children there however. Tom Sutton from the Rotary Club of Tampico, Mexico was the speaker. Had a Punch and Judy show for the children. Home tonight to dinner with the family. Mr Chamberlain and Franklin Clark went to Springfield store yesterday. Mr Chamberlain finished the Wall Paper last night (one day) and Franklin will finish the paint tonight (two days). Very quick work on the part of both.
