Wednesday Dec 29 Slush and Water up to our necks, solid ice underneath. T.P.H. took me into town this morning then came back and took Sarah in to the 10-40 train for New York. She and I had luncheon at the new Roger Sherman Restaurant on College. It certainly is fixed up lovely. We hope it will pay as it is fine to have such a nice place to take ones friends. The Junior Department Party of Calvary Church School held this afternoon. Miss Aldora Bailey, our former Church visitor came to town to see us all. Mrs. Marion Thomas Tiffinay called on us at the office today. Home tonight. Rather lonely now that Sarah has gone back to New York.
