Friday Dec 31 The last day of another year. Nearly through inventory at at the store. Out home to dinner then in to Calvary Church to Mr Camps New Year Party. We gave out half pound boxes of chocolates as the school part of the party. Mr and Mrs Camp and the cabinet received. Later, T.P.H. called for me and went out to the Edgewood Club to New Years celebration. Had supper and danced till twelve then bedlam let loose. Had a good time left at about quarter of one for home. Raining and snowing and generally disagreeable weather. Sarah expected to come up from New York this evening but took someone else's work at the Laboratory Theatre, so could not come. Carolyn Brown stayed with us tonight, her people being away. And then the year ends and may the new one be "A fruitful year a cloudless heavean be for us all in 1927".
