1926 Friday Jan 1 As I shall arrive at my fiftieth birthday on the Eighteenth day of this month, this year 1926. It has occurred to me that I should set down on paper a few things that will effect me and my life during the balance of the journey. These papers may be of interest to my daughter Sarah or to her children (who knows) in the years to come. I shall hope so anyway. We are now living at 203 Ridgewood Ave Spring Glen, having moved into this new house Tuesday December 29th, 1925. Mr. Harold B. Camp called on us as he did every family in the Parish of Calvary Baptist Church. On that day Sarah was at home for the holiday, having coming home from New York where she is attending the Little Theatre Guild School. The weather is clear and not too cold. John B.
