Thursday Jan 7 Clear and cold today. Drove car in town this morning. Up to #79 Norton St to care for fires. Had piano moved from Norton Street to Ridgewood Ave house. Looked over the Robert Graves Co line of Wall Papers at Chapel Street Store Mr Pratt showing them, had lunch with them at Hotel Taft Spoke tonight at dinner at First Methodist Church for Federation of Religious Education Prof Weigle of Yale Divinity School Chief Speaker. The Union and New Haven Trust Co. announced the purchase of the Security Insurance Co. building corner of Church St. and Elm St. and will erect a new building there.
