Friday Jan 15 We made the final move from 79 Norton Street to 203 Ridgewood Ave Spring Glen. We cleared out the attic and cellar. Had the water shut off and traps filled with kerosene all to prevent freezing. Many many happy hours had been spent in that house. It has always seemed like home and comfort to me, and a great feeling of sadness came with the closing of the front door for the last time, but such is life, and as the days and years go by many changes must come and it is not strange that changes sometimes brings regrets.
