Wednesday Jan 27 To Church to supper. Prayer meeting followed. Subject. Jeremiah. Many present had portions of his life and usefulness to speak on. My part was to speak on "The Call of Jeremiah" found in the first Chapter of Jeremiah. Fine meeting. United States Senate today voted, the entry of the United States in the World Court. Vote stood 76 for 17 against, we are proud to record that both Senators from Connecticut voted in favor of the Court. Senators McLean and Bingham. This action is to favor the establishment of a Permanent Court of International justice, with its cheif aim to settle all difference between Nations and to make War improbable.
