Tuesday July 6 Rained hard this forenoon but cleared after lunch. Rotary at noon Levi snow turned the gavel and the Presidents Chair over to Wallace Hutton our newly elected President. Harley read his "Do Good Chest" committee report and got a good "hand" from the crowd and a vote of thanks from the Club. Worked at the Hotel Taft all the afternoon looking over the Rust Craft Line of Christmas Cards for Larry Monson, has he has never bought the line before. Home tonight worked on the lawn till dark pulling up weeds. T.P.H. and Sally in town today getting some new clothes to wear to Philadelphia for Wall Paper mens semi-annual meeting. Board of Alderman Voted a bond issue of $500,000.00 for the widening and extending of Grove Street from State Street to Broadway.
