Wednesday July 14 T.P.H. and I left for Philadelphia at noon on the Colonial express to attend the summer meetings of the Wall Paper Wholesalers Ass'n and visit there Sesqi-Centennial Exposition. We arrived safely in Philadelphia and were very comfortably roomed at the new Benjamin Franklin Hotel. We had dinner there and then took a walk about the city looking in the many interesting shop windows. Ruth Watrous of East River is to stay with Sarah while we are gone.
