Thursday July 15
At Philadelphia attending meetings of Wall Paper Wholesalers association. Stopping at Benjamin Franklin Hotel. This is a New Hotel and very fine and homelike. Held association meeting all the morning. Had luncheon all together at Hotel. This afternoon although is was pouring torrents the Entertainment Committee carried out its Program by taking the whole group sight seeing. We went in big busses out to Valley Forge visiting Washington Headquarters and other points of interest. Then back to Philadelphia and out to the Sesqi-Centennial grounds for dinner. It was raining so hard that the restaurant keeper had given us up. But nevertheless they soon had a fine dinner for us. We ate at the "German Village". All the attendants have been brought from Bavaria. Cooks Waiteresses Entertainers etc etc. We had quite an interesting experience.
