Friday July 23 Still in New York and although the weather is a bit cooler outside, the heat inside the building is about the same as yesterday. We went over the line of Prager Co looking at both the Baeck 30 inch goods and the Allen Higgins Co. Saw Hunkins line. Sanitas people and the Muralia line made by Baeck Co. Mr Chamberlain went home to Bridgeport at three P.M. Daylight Saving Time. I had some shopping to do, so came up on six o'clock Dayight Saving Time. Had dinner on the train. The family were unable to meet me as the Packard is in the shop, being fixed up for my vacation next week. I was mighty glad to get back to the family at "Glendean" and a much cooler atmosphere, have been away ten days.
