Wednesday July 28 Started on my vacation today with T.P.H. and Sarah. We left home in the Packard at noon and drove through Ansonia, Seymour Newtown, Danbury, Brewster N.Y. Pawling N.Y. to Millbrook N.Y. Drove out from there five miles to "Hope Farm" School to see Nat Noble. He showed us over this wonderful institution for underprivileged boys and girls. We took him into Millbrook Inn to dinner, then took him back out to his school. Drove about 135 miles today alltogether. Will stay at the Millbrook Inn tonight. All rather tired.
