Thursday Mar 18 Went up to Springfield store by train. Some again by six P.M. T.P.H. came in town and we had supper at Fred Gilberts new Cafeteria on Temple Street. I drove over to Ansonia to Merchants and Manufacturers Fair at Armory. Gans & Co. our customer had Atlas Paint and Murphy goods display there. Stopped a few minutes on way out at Larry and Aletha Stones on the Derby Road. Aletha sick in bed with grippe. Colonel John Coolidge father of President Coolidge died. tonight at his home at Plymouth Vermont.
