Friday May 14 Drove over to Clinton Conn with Ray Hall, to the new store of The Clinton Lumber and Coal Co to help them arrange their paint stock for their opening tomorrow. Rode back to New Haven in one of the Shore Line Busses, my first experience in one of these overland busses. It rode very comfortably. Harley and Alice invited Violette and Clayton, Tess and I to a Theatre Party at the Shubert to celebrate our anniversaries altogether. The performance was a Musical Revue - entitled "Temtations", some show. Sally came up from New York for the weekend, from the Laboratory Theatre School.
