We are trying the experiment of having two clerks on duty down stairs and two up on the Wall Paper floor, allowing all the rest to go home at one o'clock. Sarah had to stay in New York today to reherse, so could not come up home. T.P.H. and I went out to the Yale Bowl to see the first foot ball game of the season. Yale played Boston University, and won 51 to 0. Phil Bunnell is Captain at Yale this year. They have a hard schedule but prospects look good. Harvard was beaten by Geneva 16 to 7 and Princeton won from Amherst by but 14 to 7. World Series started today in New York between St. Louis Nationals and New York Americans.
