Monday Oct 11
Beautiful day. Clear and cool. T.P.H. and I went to Clark Hall + Pecks at eleven o'clock and transfered our house at 79 Norton Street to the new owners Mr and Mrs Twohill of West Haven. We had hoped to get around fifteen thousand for the house but finally Sold it for twelve thousand five hundred. Quite dissapointing. We had lunch at Gilberts Caffateria on Temple Street. Harley and Alice left for Washington D.C. to attend the convention of United States Paint Jobbers Association. Home to dinner tonight and for the evening.
