Monday Oct 18 Looked over the Shand Kydd line of English Wall Papers shown by Mr Chute. Had lunch with him at the Hotel Taft. Walter Smith, Mr Hyde, Mr Carpenter, and myself worked tonight on the third floor condensing the Wall Paper over stock. T.P.H. came in and took me out home in the packard. Harley and Alice returned from Washington last night they had been attending the Convention of Paint Distributors. They called on Lillian while there.
