Sunday Sept 5 Raining hard again today. Sarah and I went in to Calvary Church this morning. Mr Camp is back from his vacation and preached this morning. Had a very good congregation even if it was raining. All had dinner together at home Mac Mc Tighe with us. Later we all went over to the New Haven Hospital to see Aletha Knapp Stone and her new baby born last Sunday. We were the first people to see her outside of the family. She is looking pretty good and the baby is a little dear. We later called on Mrs. Knapp at her apartment at #71 College street.
