Sunday Sept 12 A beautiful day. Our Church School at Calvary Church started today with a good attendance. Mr Camp and Mr Wheaton with us. Mr Wheaton for the first time. The New Haven Grays 110th Anniversary occurred today and tomorrow. The Active Company and veterans attended divine service at St. Paul's Church, Cor Chapel and Olive streets this morning at 11 A.M. Rev Elenore M. McKee Preached the sermon. It was a most helpful service. I was unable to attend on account of our Church School opening today. This afternoon the veterans and Actives reported at the Armory at two P.M. and carrying flowers and wreathes proceeded to the Grove Street and Evergreen Cemeteries and decorated the graves of the Grays who are buried there. The parade was headed by the old Second Regiment Band. Captain F.W. Holloway of the Active Company in charge.
