Thursday Sept 30 Breakfast at the Aspinwall in charge of Springfield Club. Sat at table with John and Mrs Serville. Ray and Mrs Reigeleuth packed up ready for home, then took a trip to the roof of the Hotel to view the gorgeous scenery. It was beautiful. Left Lennox and drove over the Jacobs Ladder route to Springfield. Had lunch at Hotel Kimball. Spent the afternoon at Springfield store. Started home. Called the Newells house and they insisted we stay to supper. Muriel not very well. Has bad neck. Drove home. Quite foggy all the way down.
