Friday, April 1, 1927 Saw us off today on trout fishing in Connecticut and many devotees of the pole and line are off to the brook to try their luck. The weather is cool but there is no snow or ice to bother and the brooks are not too high. Went to the Lenten Service at the Olympic Theatre this noon. 12-25 to 12-55, Dr. Scoville of Trinity P.E. Church presided and offered prayer. Rev. Mr. Brush of First Baptist Church preached the sermon. He was very good too. Saw our pastor, Harold Camp, there. Took him to lunch at Quinnipiac Club. Had a nice visit together. Home to dinner tonight. [Prev](1927_03_31.md) - [Next](1927_04_02.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1pGgjqoDZnc5Op84xfes8oPqGvnA5OT5J">
