Sunday, April 3, 1927 Sarah drove me into Calvary Church this morning. Then came back and took her mother to St. Paul's. The church school, met with the church this morning at 10-30 for our Decision Day Service. I sat on the platform with Mr. Camp and read the psalms for responsive reading. Mr. Camp preached a wonderful sermon on "Follow Me". The Invitation was given at the close of the sermon and 26 came forward with their cards and their lives. It was a glorious day. Eleanor Effler and Ted Colton came this afternoon to spend the night. We are so glad to have them. Pete Cameron and Nat Noble came out to eat waffles. --- (There is an [attached letter](<Letter from WM.L. Phelps to Vernon, 1927.md>) from William Lyon Phelps that references a speech that occurred "on Sunday". This likely is referring to Vernon reading the psalms, seeing as Prof. Phelps is a deacon at Calvary.)
