Wednesday, April 6, 1927 In Springfield, Mass attending Spring Conference of the 30th Rotary District at Hotel Kimball. Had breakfast here with Neil Muirhead of Bridgeport Club. At morning session, presided over by District Governot Allam Colvin of Hartford, Allon H. Bagg of Pittsfield was elected District Governor to take office July first. It was also voted to hold the Fall Conclave at the Hotel Aspinwall, Lennox, Mass. At the luncheon, which was the final session, Ray Shattuck of Springfield Club presented Felice Seghezza with a beautiful revolver. I presented to Allan Colvin a mahogany desk and chair in behalf of the district. T.P.H. was spending these days with the Newells. We had dinner with them, then drove down home.
