Friday, April 15, 1927 Good Friday today. We kept open till noon. At three o'clock occurred the funeral of Annie K. Joslin, at Beecker and Bennette. I acted as one of the bearers. The funeral was largely attended and lots of flowers bore testimony of the love so many had for her. Mr. Camp, our pastor, had the service and Grace Walker Nichols sang two solos. It was a lovely service, just as Annie would have liked it. Mr. Camp said truly, "For her to live was Christ, to die was gain". She truly lived the Christian life. Went in to Calvary to Union Communion Service of all Baptist Churches. Mr Daniels of Olivet Baptist Church preached the sermon.
