Saturday, April 16, 1927 Worked all day. This has seemed a strange Easter season from a business standpoint. After spending sixteen years selling Easter greeting cards at the Chapel Street store, it has been a great physical relief. Went down to Calvary Church this afternoon to arrange the flowers for tomorrow. We are placing them in church in memory of Lota and Doris. T.P.H. called for me then we took a plant over to Mother Peck in Fair Haven. Had dinner at home.
