Saturday, August 6, 1927 At Newfane, Vermont. Had breakfast at the inn then drove down to Camp Arden to Sarah. Saw the group reherse several acts of "The Crusade". Sarah played Stephen in two acts and of course we were so proud of her. After rehearsel, Miss Evarts released her to us for the rest of the day and night. We returned to the inn for lunch then back to camp for a swim. Then Sally took up in charge and piloted us over the mountain to Westminster, Vermont. The drive was a constant delight as mountain and valley unfolded before us. The more we see of Vermont, the more we love it. We had dinner at the Westminster Inn. Such a delightful place and a wonderful dinner. We drove to Newfane by the way Brattleboro to avoid the mountain roads and had opportunity of seeing the countryside do their Saturday night trading. The town was crowded with automobiles. [Prev](1927_08_05.md) - [Next](1927_08_07.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1VtvX2EVam4axUT5fFkaiKLNWZJHt-qtT">
