Friday, August 12, 1927 In to the office this morning. Then drove up to the Springfield store. T.P.H. went with me. I left her at the Newell's, where she had a fine visit and discussed plans with them regarding Muriel's coming wedding. Called at the Highland Paint and Wall Paper Co.'s store for a visit and it looks as though they might not continue for financial reasons. We drove home in the early evening.
