Sunday, August 14, 1927 Started raining again this afternoon and rained all evening. Worked in the garden this morning. Read and wrote all afternoon. It is Mother and Father Peck sixty second wedding anniversary today, an unusually long time to be spared to each other. We are to help them celebrate it tomorrow.
