Wednesday, August 17, 1927 Another clear cool day. Mr. Pratt of the Robert Graves Co. at the store today to go over the line with us. We had luncheon at the Hotel Taft together. Worked late writing to Harley, who is at Winchendon on his vacation. T.P.H. took Alice and Sarah Drew down to Bridgeport to Lew Bill's to see Auntie "B". Called for me on her way back. Had dinner at home. --- (Auntie "B" is also Alice and Sarah's aunt. Lew is Vernon, Alice, and Sarah's first cousin.)
