Saturday, August 27, 1927 Rained all day long, hard. We closed the store one o'clock but I worked all afternoon on Wall Paper selections. Violette had a party at her house in honor of Mary and Jay Eldredge, who are here on their way from Europe to their home in Idaho. All the old "Calvary Church Crowd" were there and we did have such a good time. Auntie B and Harthon Bill were there too. Jay told us about his trip through Europe. Our auto was in the shop so Richmond came out and got us and brought us back home in his car. So fine of him.
