Monday, December 26, 1927 Christmas Holiday was observed today. All business stopped. T.P.H. prepared her dinner then we went over to Fair Haven and cooked it over there for the reason that Mother Peck could not get out to come over to us. We did have such a fine dinner and Mother and Father Peck enjoyed our having it with them. We drove from there to Harley's at West Haven for tea, Violette's family also Lou Bill, Auntie "B", and Harthon were there. Lota played the piano and Lois sang for us. It has been another beautiful day, clear and cold, and no snow at all. Both today and yesterday have been ideal Winter days.
