Friday, December 30, 1927 Raining and foggy again today. Went to Springfield store today both ways on train. Very heavy fog tonight settled all about New Haven. Many automobile collisions on account of its density. Lois and Franklin Clark at the house for dinner tonight. I could not come out as I had to attend a Trustees meeting at the Calvary Baptist Church at an early hour, which did not permit my coming out home to dinner.
