Saturday, February 19, 1927 Stormed hard all day. Started to rain early this morning. Then began to freeze and then snow. Snow did not get very deep. Worked all day at the store. Home to dinner. T.P.H. and I went in to Shubert Theatre to see "Abie's Irish Rose". It was so good. Clean and human. Our Packard would not start, so we started to run for the trolley. When our neighbors picked us up in their auto and took us in and brought us out home again. We were so thankful as it was storming so badly.
