Tuesday, July 5, 1927 A beautiful morning. Clear and bright. The thermometer registered just 50°. T.P.H. suggested that it was typical, "Adirondack Mountain weather". Sally took me in to the office while our guests ate breakfast then dashed back and took Colly and Bea and Phil Richardson to the station. All hated to leave, especially Phil, who was leaving Muriel behind. Rotary at noon at Hotel Taft. Don North began his year as president and began well. Don Adams in behalf of the club presented Wallace Hutton (retiring president) a beautiful watch. He was much pleased to receive it and heartily thanked the members. Home tonight. Worked in the garden till dark. [Prev](1927_07_04.md) - [Next](1927_07_06.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1VbpSsfzDI8z5N27j1XzX5BzDvJU_XsSK">
