Sunday, July 10, 1927 We all woke up this morning at Newfane Inn after a fine night's sleep in this Vermont air. We had breakfast here and a regular Vermont breakfast it was. Bacon and eggs, sausage, griddle cakes with maple syrup, doughnuts, coffee, fruit, and cereal. We took Sarah on down to Camp Arden, found Miss Evarts, Miss Whitney, and a lot of the girls already there. They gave her a warm greeting with many hugs and kisses. T.P.H. and I left Sally there and drove back home to "Glendean". We stopped for dinner at the Hotel Kimball, Springfield, Mass. It has rained nearly all day. Richmond Curtiss and Russell Bill called this evening. --- (If everyone is who I think they are, Richmond Curtiss and Russell Bill are second cousins. Their parents, Harry Bill and Violette Hodges Curtiss, are first cousins. Their grandparents, Sarah Drew and Eliza Drew, are sisters.)
