Saturday, July 16, 1927 Terrifically hot again today. Closed at one o'clock and came right out to "Glendean" where there was some breeze. Worked all the afternoon on the New Haven Grays notices of the annual meeting, which will be held at Camp Trumbull, Niantic, Connecticut this year while the active company is in camp. This is an innovation to try and get as many veterans down to camp as possible. Heavy thunder shower this evening did a lot of damage about the state.
