Tuesday, July 19, 1927 In New York at the Wall Paper Convention (see page 199). Worked, started in earnest this morning looking over the lines. Mr. Chamberlain from New Haven store and Mr. Shaffer from the Springfield store came down this morning. Still very hot. Looked at the lines of Beeker Smith and Page and the Robert Graves Co. Mr. Killen showed us the B.S.P. line and it is very beautiful wall paper. Mr. Pratt showed us the Graves offering of course and although there is some improvement, it does not measure up to the opportunity. Harley, Shaffer, Chamberlain, and I went to the theatre to see "Honeymoon Lane". It was very terrific and pretty.
