In New York for the third day in the interest of wall paper (see pages 199 + 200). Looked at the Standard Wall Paper Co. line this morning. Mr. Nettor, who travels the northwest for them, showed us the line in place of Charles Slocumb, who covers our territory (he was busy with another customer). Looked at the York Card line this afternoon. Louis Steele waited on us. Harley up home on the 6 o'clock train D.S.T. We all went to dinner with Mr. Steele at the Commodore Hotel. Then Shaffer, Chamberlain, and I went over on Broadway to the movies. The wall paper factories of Standard W.P. Co., the York Card and Paper Co., and the Robert Griffin Co. have combined under the name of the United Wall Paper Factories Inc.
