Wednesday, July 27, 1927 Quinnipiac Club outing out at Wilson H. Lees Fairlia Farm, Orange, Conn. Had a sheep roast by Nicholson. A heavy thunder shower came up soon after we reached there, but we were protected by a big tent. Arthur and Ruby Beers with Janet and Betsey here for the afternoon and to supper. I reached home before they went home. I was sorry not to have been here to supper.
